1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using WiredStrings ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.
If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
WiredStrings is a cloud-based translation management platform. It provides a REST API, a web dashboard, and associated tools for managing translation keys, values, and languages across one or more projects.
The features available to you depend on your subscription tier. We reserve the right to modify, add, or remove features at any time with reasonable notice.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API tokens.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You may not create an account on behalf of another person without their authorization.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that are found to be in violation of these terms, used fraudulently, or inactive for an extended period on the free tier.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Store or transmit illegal, harmful, or offensive content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' data
- Interfere with the Service's operation or overload its infrastructure
- Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission
- Reverse-engineer or extract proprietary components of the platform
5. Your Content
You retain full ownership of all translation keys, values, and other content you create or upload ("Your Content"). We claim no intellectual property rights over it.
By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
You are responsible for ensuring that Your Content does not infringe third-party rights and that you have the right to store it on the Service.
6. Billing and Cancellation
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Prices are displayed in USD on the pricing page. Taxes may apply depending on your location.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from the dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then. We do not offer refunds for unused time on a billing period.
If a payment fails and is not resolved within 7 days, your account may be downgraded to the free tier.
7. Service Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided on a best-effort basis. Planned maintenance will be announced in advance when possible.
We are not liable for any losses caused by outages, data loss, or service interruptions.
8. Intellectual Property
We own and operate the wiredstrings.app domain. We make no trademark or name claims over "WiredStrings" and hold no patents related to the Service.
The platform code and documentation are proprietary. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute them without written permission. These terms do not grant you any rights beyond what is necessary to use the Service.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WiredStrings and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, lost profits, or business interruption.
Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it from the dashboard. We may terminate or suspend your account immediately if you materially breach these terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. We will delete your data within 30 days of account deletion, subject to our retention obligations.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before any material change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.
